HOW TO PLAN A WEDDING IN REHOBOTH BEACH

You can save a lot on your hotel accommodations in the off season months. Additionally, you’ll have cooler temperatures along with more privacy on the beach and no need to feed the meters after September. If you are planning a beach wedding from Memorial Day to Labor Day it always best to schedule your wedding after 6pm.
A permit is required in the city of Rehoboth Beach. The cost is $200.00. As well, you have to secure a Marriage License from the Georgetown Courthouse. If you do not want to pay for this permit you may want to consider nearby free beaches like Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach, or even Lewes. However, Rehoboth is such a great location you may find that the 200 dollars is a small price to pay. Not a resident of our State? You will have to obtain your Marriage License from the Sussex County Clerk. Lastly, the wonderful boardwalk, wonderful restaurants, and many reception venues make Rehoboth a top wedding location.

Atlantic Sands Hotel is a Rehoboth Beach boardwalk hotel. It is located footsteps away from the sand and ocean, offering gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean. In addition, they provide a beach wedding ceremony set-up including chair rental, and tables. Tables can be used for wedding programs, sand ceremonies or decorations. Also, the hotel has a ballroom that you can catch a glimpse of the ocean and boardwalk.
